Today was day 1 of our trip through Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky. As you can see from a picture of us as we rolled out of Kansas City, we've got a long way to go with our photogenics:
We've only got 10 days, for this road trip, so we'll be moving fast. Our goal is to eat well, especially some great bbq, find some great music, visit a few civil war sites, and consume some nice whiskey.
Our loose itinerary has us hitting, Kansas City, Memphis, Shiloh, Chattanooga, Nashville, Lexington, maybe St. Louis, and then flying back from Kansas City.
